Delete your ClimberPyramid account

Delete in the app (recommended)

1. Open ClimberPyramid and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Open Manage account, scroll down, and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm both prompts. Your account and private data are removed immediately.

Active App Store subscriptions are managed by Apple and are not cancelled automatically when you delete your account.

Can't access the app?

If you cannot sign in, email us from the address linked to your ClimberPyramid account so we can verify ownership and complete deletion for you.

1. Send an email from the address linked to your ClimberPyramid account to support@climberpyramid.com.
2. Use the subject line Account deletion request and include your display name (if you use one in the app) so we can locate your account quickly.
3. We will confirm your request by reply email. After verification, we delete your account and associated data (usually within 30 days).

What we delete

When your account is deleted, we remove data tied to your user ID, including:

• Profile information (name, grade scale preferences, pyramid settings)
• Climbing logs and pyramid report data
• Private beta notes and media you did not publish
• Any legacy friend, trip, or message data linked to your account (if present)
• Your sign-in account (email/password or linked sign-in provider)

What stays in the public catalog

Beta notes you chose to publish remain visible in the public catalog so other climbers can still use them. They stay listed under the name shown when you published. You will no longer be able to edit or unpublish them after your account is deleted.

What may be kept temporarily

• Encrypted backups may retain deleted data for a short period before they are overwritten automatically.
• We may keep minimal records if required by law (for example, fraud prevention or legal requests).
